Boiler Safety Valve 1.8 BAR – G 3/8M

This is the single most important safety component on a commercial espresso machine. If the pressurestat fails and the heating element keeps firing, the safety valve is what vents the boiler before pressure reaches a dangerous level. It is a legally required, self-certified device – not an optional part, and never something to bypass, plug or "fix" with a heavier spring.

• The valve weeps, drips or vents at normal operating pressure
• Heavy scale build-up on the valve body or seat
• The valve has actually lifted – once it has blown, replace it, do not reuse it
• As part of scheduled annual maintenance on a commercial machine
